Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen Is a Long Distance Universal Healing Reiki Symbol

Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen is a long distance universal healing reiki symbol that means “THE DIVINE IN ME REACHES OUT TO THE DIVINE IN YOU!” and creates a bridge beyond time and space.

The literal translation of Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen means :

Hon- Origin

Sha- Person

Ze- Through a tunnel of Light to a higher dimension

Sho- Real

Nen- Prayer, Psychic Power, Meditation

Before we get to the techniques of distance healing, we need to discuss Reiki ethics. We should always ask permission of the person before long distance healing. Doesn’t matter how much we want to help, free will should always be respected.

If for some reason, you can’t physically ask for permission (the person is in a coma, in jail, or can’t be found), connect to their soul and ask for permission. If you can’t get clear answer, send universal healing Reiki but imagine putting it into a gift box with a pretty bowl and set it at the feet of the person telling them that they can open it any time. I’ve drawn pictures before with a person and a gift box with Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen and other Reiki symbols on it. As an alternative, you can also send Reiki to the person “For their Highest Good,” requesting that they accept or refuse it, as their free will dictates and offer Reiki to Mother Earth for healing if the they don’t want it.

If you know the person, hold the their image in your mind’s eye. In the air in front of you, draw Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen with the palm of your hand. “See” it appearing on the face of the person you are sending the Reiki to. As you draw the symbol and repeat its name three times, you will be connected to that person. Add the first symbol, Cho Ku Rei also appearing on the person’s face. Repeat the name three times. Draw Sei He Ki and repeat its name 3 times. This brings in the full power of authentic Reiki. There are many different way to do distance healing after you are connected through the use of Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen symbol. My personal favorite is to shrink the person in my mind to a very small size. I then imaging them on the palms of my hands and put my hands together. I usually feel strong flow of universal healing Reiki in my hands. I also sometimes imagine snowflakes of Cho Ku Rei or Sei He Ki descending into my palms. Don't forget to grow the person and place them back at the end of the session. You can program universal healing Reiki continue to heal person indefinitely. I also imagine the them happy, healthy, dancing with joy, or doing their favorite activity. At the end of each session ask Spirit’s blessing for the person and release them to their highest good.

If the condition is not healed with one session, it is advised, if possible, to coordinate consecutive treatments. For chronic conditions, treat for three or four consecutive days. Then twice, or three times a week, cutting back the sessions until healing occurs. For life threatening situations, daily treatments may be necessary.

As you are doing long distance healing, you might see images about this person in your mind. Write them down and pass these messages to the person but keep them clear, don’t try to interpret them. They might not make sense to you, but they could make a lot of sense to the person. You might also see the images that will help healing. For example, you if you see a person’s liver on fire, imagine rain coming down and washing over. Unless you are a medical doctor, don’t diagnose. It is illegal to do so. You may also see past life situations. Send healing for Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen works beyond time.

Ones my friend Tanya, lifelong passionate dog lover who leaves in California was severely bitten by a Labrador retriever. She asked me to send her universal healing Reiki. When I started to connect to her drawining Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen, in my mind, she was very reluctant to come. Even though she physically asked for healing, her subconscious resisted. I had to respect it and I waited. I saw several images. First, I saw her in a distance, dressed like an Ice Queen, very beautiful, icy sparkling long dress, a shiny crown, she was very cold and distant. I waited. I then saw another image of her dancing tango with a partner in a red sexy dress. This time she got closer, still distant. I waited. All of a sudden I saw what I understood as her past life. May be it was the metaphor for her subconscious issue, I don’t know and it really doesn’t matter. I saw her in a black robe with a black head piece like Russian priests wear. She looked very tensed and gloomy. More and more details appeared. It was Russia after the Russian Orthodox Church Raskol, the result of Church reforms in 17th century. She was an old believer and times were dark and turbulent for her. From Moscow, she was forced to find a refuge deep into Siberia. There, she became a head of the big Raskol monastery with a lot of responsibility lying heavily on her shoulders. Her faith was very stoic but rather gloomy. I then saw Jesus coming up to her and hugging her only she couldn’t see or feel him. She remained sorrowful. At this point I began to wonder what I was doing there. It wasn’t a regular Reiki healing session I was used too. I was given in answer in a form of a thought that I just needed to be there for her. All of a sudden in my mind eye, I saw her, the way she is now, sitting right in front of me. I still couldn’t shrink her and put between the palms of my hands like I usually do during long distance healing, but this time she gave me her wounded hands and I could do Reiki. I also saw an old Moroccan man handing me some dry herbs. I wasn’t quite sure what to do with them. He then made a tea from the herbs, moisten a cloth with it and made a compress for her hands. All of these seemed rather strange to me. Later that evening, I tried to call Tanya, but couldn’t reach her until the next day. When I finally spoke to her she told me that the night before her friend, an older gentleman who heard about her injuries, came to her house and brought her some dry herbs. He brewed tea form them, moisten a cloth and made a compress for her hands. Tanya had many friends praying for her and sending Reiki. Her hands healed in miraculously short time.

My other favorite long distance authentic Reiki healing story is about my friend, Julia Gravois who lives in New Orleans. Her mom in Byelorussia had continuous chest pain that forced her to see a doctor. She was diagnosed with heart condition and scheduled for the surgery in a few days. Needless to say, Julia worried about her mom and sent her Reiki long distance. The day before the surgery her mom were tested again only this time no abnormality was found and she was let go without surgery.

With the help of Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen, long distance Reiki can also be “time-capsuled” to a particular time of day, or day of the week, or month, etc. For example, if you have to go for the medical procedure, or you take some kind of test, of you are getting married, or have another important event, you can send Reiki to yourself to that time in the future.

In the same manner, using Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen symbol, you can send Reiki to the past event that need healing.

Terry Rogers, Reiki Master taught me that we can call in the “thought-form” of the root problems in any relationships, financial difficulties, etc. We can even call in the thought-form of Sensei Usui, sending him healing and ask for guidance and healing information from him.

As always, remember that authentic Reiki is your best teacher. Trust yourself!
